Man found dead on Emily Lane
A man who was found shot a carport of a Greenville County home was identified Thursday by the Greenville County Coroner's Office.
Senior Deputy Coroner Jennifer Cason identified the man as Jorell G. Wright, but did not release his age or where is from.
Lt. Ryan Flood, with the Greenville County Sheriff's Office, said deputies responded to Emily Lane around 8 p.m. Wednesday after receiving a 911 call about gunshots.
He said deputies found Wright lying in the carport suffering from at least one gunshot wound, Flood said.
He was taken to the hospital and pronounced dead, Flood said.
Cason said, after an autopsy, officials determined Wright died of multiple gunshot wounds.
