ANN ARBOR, MI — Doug Selby was a chemist working at a University of Michigan research lab when he first renovated the rental house he owns at 530 N. Division St.

That was over 20 years ago. Within a few years, he ventured out and co-founded Meadowlark Builders, which has become one of Ann Arbor’s leading homebuilding and remodeling companies.
